EXAMPLE SITES

Three example sites.

Ruben designed three complete websites for made-up Florida pool companies, so you can see our work before you pay for yours. Each one is built for a different kind of customer. Here's who, why it looks the way it does, and what's on it.

Example companies, not clients.

EXAMPLE 01 · WEEKLY POOL CARE · OLDER NEIGHBORHOODS

Dunwell & Daughters Pool Care

“Done well, every week.”

WHO IT'S FOR
A made-up family business: a father and two daughters who look after pools in older neighborhoods. Their customers love an older house and see the pool as part of it. Some have lived there for decades and don't want a different stranger in the backyard every week. Others just bought an old house and don't know the first thing about its pool.
WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
Ruben designed it to feel like Old Florida: a warm serif that looks hand-painted, terracotta and shutter green, and a band of small green tiles like the waterline of an old pool. The arch in the logo comes from the loggia of a Mediterranean Revival house. People in these neighborhoods trust a family that takes care, not a slick company, so the site leads with the note the family leaves after every visit.
WHAT'S ON IT
A page for each of nine services, from weekly care to green-to-clean and a walkthrough for new pool owners. Pages for three neighborhoods. A questions page about prices, contracts and keys. A contact form.

EXAMPLE 02 · ESTATE POOL CARE · LARGER PROPERTIES

Ashgrove Estate Pools

“Quietly kept.”

WHO IT'S FOR
A made-up company that looks after the pools on larger properties: infinity edges, natural stone, spas. Its customers are seasonal residents, estate managers and owners of custom pools. They usually hear about it from their builder or a neighbor, then look it up to make sure.
WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
Ruben kept it quiet on purpose: a light editorial serif, travertine-colored backgrounds, night-blue type, and champagne only as a thin line. No gold gradients, and no "luxury" in every sentence. The signature is the Edge, a thin line that steps down at the end, like water over an infinity edge. For someone checking up on a referral, the site should be a calm confirmation, not a sales pitch.
WHAT'S ON IT
Five service pages, from weekly care to stone and waterline care. A sample Pool Record, the log of every visit. A page for seasonal residents. Four neighborhood pages, a FAQ and a form to request a walkthrough.

EXAMPLE 03 · WEEKLY POOL SERVICE · ONE TRUCK, ONE ROUTE

Blue Route Pool Service

“Same day. Every week.”

WHO IT'S FOR
A made-up one-truck business: one owner and one weekly route through the suburbs. Its customers have an ordinary backyard pool and just want it handled: the same day every week, a note when it's done, and no upselling.
WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
Ruben designed it like a bus timetable: Overpass, a typeface based on American highway signs, route blue and lane yellow, and a route line with numbered stops for what happens at every visit. There's no aqua in the design, so the water in the photos is the only aqua on the page. A small company looks established through order, not size, and a fixed service day for each neighborhood shows that order.
WHAT'S ON IT
Seven service pages, from weekly service to storm cleanup. A service-day page for each of four neighborhoods. How it works, a FAQ, and a reviews page that's ready for real Google reviews.
