DRAFT · FINAL WORDING PENDING LEGAL REVIEW
English. What we collect, why we need it, who else touches it, and how to make us delete it.
LAST UPDATED October 29, 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
When you start a preview: your business name, trade, city and state, your name, email address and mobile number, and your current website if you give it.
During setup: what you tell us on the call, and the logo, photos and other files you upload.
When you email us or use our contact form: your name, email address and message.
If you contacted a business through a website we run for them: that business decides what happens to your message, booking or review contact, and we handle it only for them, under our Data processing addendum. Ask that business first. If you contact us, we pass your request on to them.
To build your preview and your website, to call you about your order for the setup call, to send you your preview link and receipts, and to answer your questions. When you agree to the setup call at checkout, we keep a record of that: which wording you agreed to, and when.
Because we're based in the Netherlands, the EU's GDPR applies to everything we do with your data, wherever you are. We use your data to carry out our agreement with you, to keep the records Dutch tax law requires, and, as our legitimate interest, to find and email businesses that could use a website, to measure and improve our website, and to keep our systems secure. We only measure ads on our ad pages with your consent.
The setup call is made by an AI assistant. It tells you at the start that it is an AI and that the call is recorded. We use the recording and its transcript only to build your site and to answer your questions. Calls you make to us are recorded the same way. We delete call recordings after 90 days.
We find businesses through public listings such as Google Maps and look at their public website. If we emailed you, that is where your business details came from. Reply "not interested" and we won't email you again.
Stripe processes card payments. ElevenLabs runs the AI assistant on our calls, and Twilio provides the phone line. We don't send text messages. Vercel hosts our website and the websites we build, and Supabase stores our data. Resend sends our order emails, Google Workspace holds our inbox, and Instantly sends the first emails we send to businesses. Apify collects the public business listings we start from. We share only what each of them needs for their part.
Several of these companies are based in the United States. Where data goes from us to them, we rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Call recordings: 90 days. The written transcript and the notes from the call stay with your order.
Your preview: online for 14 days. After that we keep it 90 more days, so your $49 still counts if you come back, and then we delete it.
Your website, your files and your account: for as long as you're a customer. When you leave, we hand over your files and delete our copies within 90 days.
Payments and invoices: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
Your agreement to the setup calls (the wording and the time): 5 years after our last call, so we can show that you agreed.
Emails and contact form messages: 2 years after our last contact.
How our website is used (see "Cookies and analytics"): 13 months, after that only totals. What you do in your preview and your dashboard: 25 months.
If we emailed you first and you didn't become a customer: your business details for up to 12 months after our last email, and visits to your personal page for 13 months. If you asked us to stop, we keep only your email address, on a do-not-contact list, so we never email you again.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@ruberio.com. You can also ask us to stop using your data for a purpose, to limit how we use it, or to send you a copy in a common format. We answer within one month, at no charge, and using these rights never changes how we treat you. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Our ad pages can use Meta's pixel to count which Facebook or Instagram ad brought you here, but only after you tap OK in the bar at the bottom of the page. Until then, and if you tap No thanks or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it doesn't load.
If you tapped OK and then buy a preview, we also tell Meta about that purchase from our server. Your email address and phone number are scrambled (hashed) before they leave. Because we're based in the Netherlands, the EU's GDPR applies to us: Meta Platforms Ireland and we are joint controllers for collecting and sending this data, and what Meta does with it after that is covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Ad measurement settings" link at the bottom of our ad pages.
We measure how our own website is used, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. When you look at a page, we note which page it is, the name of the website or the campaign tags in the link that brought you, your type of device and the rough width of your screen, and your country and state, which we read from your connection. We also note how long the page was on screen, how far you scrolled, which parts you saw, which questions you opened and which buttons you clicked.
To tell one visit from another, we use a scrambled code made from your connection, your browser and the date, with a secret key that only our server has. The code changes every day, so it can't link your visits across days. We don't store your IP address for this.
If we emailed you a link to your personal page, these visits are tied to your business, so we can see whether our emails are useful and what to improve on the page. To object, email info@ruberio.com and we delete them.
When you start a checkout, we note whether it was completed or expired, and what Stripe charged us for the payment. After a call with our assistant, we keep how long it took, how it ended and what it cost us.
We use no other analytics, no session recordings, no heatmaps and no tracking cookies.
