Edges, Spas & Water Features
Care beyond the swimming area.
Follow the water all the way around. The edge, catch basin and spa are part of the pool. We include them in the walkthrough so the plan accounts for more than the main swimming area.
Each visit
What we attend to.
The parts most visits skip. The final list is set in your proposal.
Look after the infinity edge and the accessible catch basin.
Clean and balance the spa within the agreed system setup.
Check spillways, fountains and sheer descents for visible changes.
Note uneven flow, and anything that needs a closer equipment assessment.

The method
The edge tells you something.
A change in the flow belongs in the Pool Record. The entry explains what was noticed and whether a follow-up is needed.
The edge
The water should leave the pool in one even sheet. A thin or broken line is the first thing we look for.
The catch basin
Below the edge, the basin collects it. We check its level, and what has settled there.
The return
From the basin, back through the equipment and into the pool. Uneven flow is written down, not guessed at.
Boundaries
Care, with clear limits.
Maintenance observations help start the conversation about specialist work. They do not replace a diagnosis.
Specialist work
- Finding and repairing structural leaks
- Rebuilding or releveling an edge
- Redesigning a water feature
